Freeway Honored by Best Mobile App Awards, Mobile Star Awards, World Summit Awards, and Media Excellence Awards
SEATTLE – February 01, 2017 – Syntonic, a leading mobile platform and services provider, today announced that its Freeway app has been recognized by multiple prestigious mobile award programs, including the Best Mobile App Awards, Mobile Star Awards, World Summit Awards, and Media Excellence Awards. Each award focuses on a unique aspect of the Freeway experience, such as user interface, economic benefits, social impact, and the technology. Rounding out a successful year for the company, the four award recognitions reflect the user growth, product innovation and global expansion of Freeway.

- Mobile Star Awards: Freeway was awarded with a Best of 2017 designation in the annual Mobile Star Awards “Money Saving App” category for its unique approach to reducing the cost of mobile access. This award specifically recognized the benefits of Freeway Overpass, a new offering available in the United States that allows users to tap into unlimited data for specific apps and groups of apps through on-demand, in-app purchases.
- World Summit Awards (WSA): WSA is an especially prestigious awards program given its sponsorship by the United Nations and focus on honoring the individuals and companies that are creating digital innovations for the improvement of society. Freeway was selected by a range network technology and entrepreneurship experts to represent the United States in the Inclusion & Empowerment category of the international competition. - Media Excellence Awards: Named as a finalist in the 10th annual Media Excellence Awards within the Analytics & Big Data category, Freeway was honored for the capabilities of its backend technology which can collect and display massive amounts of mobile data usage analytics including audience, app usage, consumer offers, and data consumed per app.
